I totally agree with you on the inequalities of the world these days. Some people I know say that the healthcare system in America is rigged against the marginalized for the benefit of politicians to dodge questions about health for all, especially mental health. From my experiences over the past decade and a half, I can honestly say I share their feelings.
Really, I'm exhausted with going back and forth, switching medications with guaranteed adverse side effects while not seeing significant improvement, and this asinine waiting game that is "finding the right therapist". I did that for more than 10 years and got nothing because I couldn't afford them, because I had no real insurance. Other countries have health care that anyone can get, and they're sometimes Third World ones. America calls itself the most advanced nation on Earth... and most of the population can't even afford adequate health care because of privatization and inflation (on another note, I heard that nowadays, houses are almost impossible to buy).
I can only rely on what works for me, and that is my job, my friends (including you guys) and building up on my artistic career. Anything else is just a waste of time.
