Wait, is this even LEGAL?!
Apr. 23rd, 2024 09:23 pmLooks like the injustices toward Rep. Ilhan Omar weren't just limited to the CNN prime time debacle. The Guardian tells me that Omar's own daughter, Isra Hirsi, was arrested along with more than a hundred pro-Palestine protesters at Columbia University in New York during a protest against Netanyahu's ongoing genocide in Gaza. Other sources say the protesters were assaulted with "chemicals" and that they were "specifically targeted" by law enforcement. Meanwhile, a certain narcissistic sociopath continues to callously and willingly break gag order after gag order throughout his trial in Manhattan over his one night stand with Stormy Daniels and his coverup payment to shut her up while he worked with someone named "Pecker" to sully up the National Enquirer to fudge the 2016 presidential election in his favor.
First off, Pecker claims influencing an election falls under democratic norms. Well then, if that's the case, his client is dumber than ever, because he's constantly whining about "election interference". If that's the case, then question: if the "Deep State/Radical Left" is interfering with an election, specifically the upcoming 2024 election (which hasn't even STARTED yet, but bear with me), then that would mean the "Radical Left" is acting within democratic norms, right?
The presiding judge is right: 45's attorneys have indeed "lost all credibility."
But going back to Omar's daughter. First off, is that even legal? Hirsi is arrested for protesting? Since when is protesting a crime? Where was law enforcement when those douchebags were terrorizing Charlottesville, leading to Heather Heyer needlessly being mowed down by a Trump-nutjob? Or how about when the fuckin' MILITARY assaulted peaceful BLM protesters because the Racist-in-chief charged them with committing crimes against God? Hell, why hasn't Moscow Majorie been arrested for treason?! She's literally acting in Russia's employ!
This is not the time for the typical "police/law enforcement/National Guard must be assigned to suppress nonviolent protesters" crud. This is what happened at Selma with Martin Luther King and Jon Lewis. It's high time these units be assigned to neutralizing the true threats to the homeland, like say, weeding out the White supremacist groups that are still operating, some even inside the Republican Party; come on now, it's a known fact that many House Republicans fraternize with these hate groups. And the government HAS determined that White supremacy is the gravest threat to domestic security, not to mention that racism is a public health crisis. So therefore, I'm asking America: if these are the true threats to the Union, then ACT LIKE THEY ARE THE THREATS TO THE UNION.
I don't care about the country's racist history and natural caving to White supremacy. It's been four and a half centuries since that was the norm. This is a volatile time for America and the world at large. Are we just gonna keep focusing on siccing the dogs on those who can't even defend themselves?
That saying is true: "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it again and again." How many more repeats do we have to make before change happens? It's my opinion that us ordinary citizens do in fact carry FAR more power than the "mighty forces" that keep trying to keep us in line in the name of "law and order" while the powerful abuse that law and order to keep the masses quiet and numb. That ain't working anymore.
Point the weapon at those DOING the weaponizing. Otherwise, peaceful protests will become fully obsolete, and there won't BE a "will of the American people."
