jasonderoga86As I was browsing though the news concerning the literally f**ked up weather we've witnessed since February and in the wake of Hell arriving days before July 4, I came across this:

After reading this, I have to say: Mr. Turner, you're right on the money. And as for all those in power across the world who denied this inevitable catastrophe from the word "go", this is the result of their ignorance. And it's the common people -- not the rich and powerful oligarchs -- who are suffering by staggering numbers. Here in America, we're already hearing of people dying from heat exhaustion by the tens of thousands. I'm pretty sure some of those were people who voted politicians into power who then turned around and jumped on the "Climate Change is a Hoax" bandwagon. Can anyone say "betrayal"?
India hasn't been spared either. 1,300 dead and climbing. Europe got cooked, too. 60,000 deaths and climbing. But I think I've made my point.
Naturally, we go to our leaders and ask them to do something to help us adapt as there's no reversing this debacle. And naturally, the response is "Why worry about this, when we should concern ourselves with raining fire all over our only Earth in pointless wars for conquest in which no one wins?"
At this point, I think people all across the world (myself included) should stand up and work towards adapting to this new normal on our own. Most world leaders (including our own here in Red, White, and Blue) are obviously obsessed with stepping over others and taking over their lands in the name of "democracy" (Looking at you, Bush), of which they themselves can't even preserve for their own countries. I remember a line supposedly attributed to the Bible which reads: "The meek shall inherit the Earth".
Looks like that might -- or will -- be true.
